Halcyon's I-Sites identify and analyse the most urgent issues that we face collectively, imagine creative new responses to these issues, are inspired by how others are already responding, are conscious of the social and environmental impact of our actions, surface intelligent tools and techniques to help us make required changes, and monitor emerging trends that will impact upon these issues in the future.
Halcyon measures its success through:
tangible value - revenues, profits, cash flow etc...but also through
intangible values - satisfied clients, health of our brand, societal impact etc.
Halcyon core skills and competences include:
"Everywhere you look, the quantity of information in the world is soaring...Merely keeping up with this flood, and storing the bits that might be useful, is difficult enough. Analysing it, to spot patterns and extract useful information, is harder still. Even so, the data deluge is already starting to transform business, government, science and everyday life. It has great potential for good—as long as consumers, companies and governments make the right choices about when to restrict the flow of data, and when to encourage it." - The Economist
This is the sort of challenge that Halcyon can help you overcome.
Halcyon was founded and is still led by its creator, Dominic Kelleher. It is a Belgian-registered limited company.
Dominic is a senior adviser to and former director of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He was PwC's first director of global KM communications, responsible for KM education, change and thought leadership initiatives and he also chaired PwC's global "language action" task force
