• Activism - individuals travelling to developing countries can now find out (and suggest) schools, charities and communities that need equipment and can "stuff their rucksacks" accordingly on departure.

• Work - are we seeing the demise of the telecommuter, giving way to the rise of the "cloudworker"?

• Ideas - people come up with lots of new ideas everyday, but nothing happens to most of them, leading to so-called "ideaicide". 

• Business/Responsibility - authoritative analysts believe that organisations can do best by doing good, through so-called creative capitalism - but not everyone agrees. 

• Gender - women now significantly outnumber men on most new and emerging social networking sites, but large organisations don't seemed to have moved with the times in providing women with opportunities.
